Have you ever looked at yourself (in the eyes!) either in a mirror or in a picture? What did you see?
It is universally said that the eyes are windows to the soul. What is your soul trying to tell you?
I have found that is it helpful to do this practice about once a week – with an open mind. I prefer to use a photograph as it makes the process easier for me. Try out “reading” yourself through looking at your eyes. Intuitively, do you sense a color, feeling, experience, or something else linked to your eyes? Have no agenda, and try to be as objective as possible – as if you do not know who you are looking at. This helps us get into our reflective/intuitive part of self, instead of the rational/structured part that will not like this practice đ
You could even reflect on past photos that you have taken (where your eyes are open and looking at the camera). Do you notice a difference from then to now?
What if you could capture your “now” eyes and compare them with your “future” eyes? What would change?
And a step further – if you could communicate with your “future” eyes, would they say something to you? Perhaps it’s a “don’t give up” or “you are so loved” or “you are perfect as you are.” Or maybe it’s a “keep moving forward” or “stay with it – all is coming” or “give yourself a break – you deserve it.” Perhaps it’s just a transmission of healing energy or a feeling. Your future eyes love your now eyes – that is for sure.
What if you realized you are supported in more ways that you know? Our soul, the part of us that is eternal, wants to be involved with our lives here on Earth. Is there something you are doing that could help this connection and relationship? Perhaps you have wanted to leave a “soul-sucking” job for a while now. Perhaps you promised yourself that you were going to make it to your yoga mat or meditation cushion, but it hasn’t happened. Perhaps you are yearning for a more solid relationship with your Spirituality, but you haven’t given it energy that is needed for development.
If we allow ourselves, we are always able to discern what is needed for healing, balance, and vitality – even in the more subtle parts of self (like our thoughts, emotions, and soul-self). The things that we are not able to see with our everyday eyes still have energy. How are you caring for yourself through your thoughts? What about your beliefs? Actions? Can you give yourself some space to feel – even if it is uncomfortable?
When we get comfortable, we can sometimes get complacent. We stop striving to be the best version of US that our future eyes KNOW is possible. Your future eyes want you to keep reaching for your potential, opening to the possibilities of the unknown…and to the best of your ability, welcoming the sometimes uncomfortable places in between. That is where the change, transformation, and transmutation is found. My guides like to call our present spot on Earth’s timeline “The Changing Times”. The world is going through a major up-leveling of collective vibration, which always means that we as individual souls are too.
Imagine looking at your future eyes again…the power, the luminosity, the freedom. What needs to happen to help you get there?
—
On the timeline of your life, there are moments that took or will take your breath away. Each of these moments are not guaranteed – because we never know when our “time” is up. Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others. We have all had difficult moments and experiences – but there are so many ways to continue growing and evolving alongside the current of life.
Most importantly and finally, LOVE your “now” eyes. <3
What if you could have everything you ever wanted?
What if you could open to the infinite potential within you â along with unlimited possibilities, hidden treasures, best-kept secrets, and more? Would you â if you knew you were also opening to long-forgotten memories, emotional undoings, and your deepest traumas? Would you take the risk? Would you open the flood gates – if you knew it meant manifesting visions, achieving dreams, and at the same time releasing heavy subtle-body (energetic, emotional, mental, spiritual) wounding? It is worth it? To have everything we desire, and moreâŚat the cost of truly being with ourselves, at an incredibly vulnerable and deep level. To have one we must also have the other. Would you do it?
Life is constantly moving, changing, progressingâŚwe know that and can attest to it. Sometimes along the way, while we are rafting or swimming or rather being tossed through our river of life, we can sub/unconsciously create dams or blocks. We are intelligent human AND spiritual beings, and our bodies hold onto and can therefore unlock the greatest wisdom of all. It is now actually being proven that generational trauma is a real thing â we can inherit and absorb trauma, karma, and past-pain from our family lineage and childhood environments, and keep it tucked away somewhere deep in our body until it is fully open, cleared and healed. The cells in our bodies remember, even if our minds do not. When the time was that we sub/unconsciously created these dams, it was for survival purposes only. In the midst of these long-forgotten memories, emotions, and woundings â we intelligently carved a new path, and journeyed along the shore around the dam, to continue streaming forward on our river of life. Now itâs years, decades, centuries or more later, and that dam still exists but now unnecessarily, and is impacting our intrinsic flow and our ability to dream, manifest, create, and achieve what our soul knows is possible for our present and future life.
Would you initiate your gates to open?
It doesnât have to be in a life-shattering, earth-quaking, tsunami-unleashed way. It can be a gradual, ease-filled, spirit-supported, beautiful unveiling of who you are really are. Imagine setting yourself free from dams set up long ago, assisting your water of lifeâs onward flow, unlocking chains from your past, and connecting to your future vision, soul-self, potential and divinity.
Are you ready? Would you open the flood gates?

I typically speak to releasing distractions in the beginning of almost every one of my yoga classes, workshops, or intuitive healing sessions. Often times we are being pulled outside of this moment here and now â either with chains binding us to the past or with ropes trying to lasso the future. It shows up to me energetically as strings that connect us to a time and space outside of now, tugging at us for attention and surely, distraction. It is an absolute necessity to release these distractions before we are able to fully enter our environment or the vast inner world of our Mind, Body, and Spirit â for whatever specific purpose or intention we may have in doing so. To objectively enter our internal and external landscapes, we must (at least try to) release the grasps of our mind that manifest as worries and concerns for everyday life. Our “little” mind is fed from these distractions and is not something to ostracize, rather it is ideally taught that it doesnât run the show.
Shamanically, it is known that to enter a healing trance state or to connect with Spirit, we must be freed from these everyday ordeals â even if it is just for a few moments during a practice or healing session. In yoga, it is the same. We have fluctuations in our mind that yoga practice, firstly and fundamentally, helps to cultivate awareness around so that we may observe that they are even there. And secondly, yoga teaches us how to be in flow – how to allow life, and the constant stirring of it inside of us, to have space to be. This happens when we allow thoughts to simply stream without clinging to or pushing them away. This happens when we ride the waves of an emotion until the water becomes clear and steady. This happens when we accept that our muscles are shaking so tremendously and come after we feel incredibly invigorated with aliveness and vitality. When we get out of our own way, and typically this means mentally, the intelligence of our Body and the intelligence of Spirit can come through for whatever greater purpose aligns at that time.
It is important to reflect on the past or set goals and have vision for the future, but it will not promote the intrinsic feeling of connection that we as humans seek. These days we tend to pick up our phones, computers, or turn on the TV to feed this connective impulse. We live in a world where there is seemingly more connection, and at the same time, more distraction than ever. Through technology, this craving for connection is perhaps briefly fulfilled, but not at the level that our higher selves, or soul-selves, know is possible.
Last week, I went camping on the Grand Mesa (one of the largest in the world!) on the western slope of Colorado. It is incredibly beautiful out there. There was barely cell phone service, and I chose to not bring my laptop (phew!). Being without these simple everyday distractions opened the door for me to enter the mysteries. Every morning, I would watch a squirrel do its daily routine â run across the way, grab something, and take it to one of 4 hiding spots. And repeat. And repeat. And repeat. The chipmunks came out in the afternoon and at night. There were several of them hanging around, and they acted as my cute little audience when I played the native flute. On our way off the Mesa, we stopped to sky dive! It was my second time and was definitely more enjoyable than my first. Overall, the trip was fulfilling and amazing.
I share this because the âdoorâ (or portal) to presence, Spirit, and flow doesnât have to be as extreme as off-grid living or jumping into the unknown abyss â the door is actually always here and is waiting for you to open. All it takes is a few moments to truly breathe into your being, consciously release your distractions, and become aware of what is. In any healing practice (even something as simple as going for a walk or cooking yourself a meal), doors will open when you are without distraction. Try out listening, responding, acting, and being from this connected place sometime…and notice what you find. <3

This phrase really stuck with me lately. What is the difference between âPower Withâ vs. âPower Overâ?
Power With has the essence of community and equality interwoven within words that encourage us to rise together, whereas Power Over has feelings of hierarchy and authority within words that keep us small, pushed down, and separate.
Power struggles. We see so much of this happening in our world today. As conscious humans, we know this struggle will first take place within us before we manifest and project it out. This has been going on for centuries. From a Shamanic view, we dream our world into being. Our dream is our mental programming, belief systems, stories, visions, and hopes for the world. From this place within our mind do we collectively create our world today, and our world today is very entangled with distorted Powers and redundant means of control.
When Power and control are involved, fear and/or anger will usually come crippling in through the back door. Most of us get a noticeable internal response when we interact with concepts of Power, if we allow ourselves to feel the resonance. It is important to note that we must feel this fully to move through our fears and angers (perhaps while also asking for outside support), so that we come out seeing clear and on the other side. Internally, Power is directly related to our self-esteem, and is not something to fear, no matter much our society encourages us to fear of our own Power. The structures and norms put in place collectively and independently by our society are directly associated to the âPower Overâ concept. The powers that be are invisibly intelligent; the world at which we know it is sculpted to keep us conformed, stuck, obeying, impoverished, and seemingly powerless. Shamanically, a loss of power can result in mood disorders, lack of energy, and more. This is the card from which we have been dealt at this point in human evolution, so to say, but it does not dictate the outcome or fulfillment of our lives or the lives of the future generations to come! The âworkâ always starts with us, and it is beginning to change our world already!
Power is related to an expression of Masculine, solar energy. We know (no matter our gender) that all of Life is comprised of complimentary and opposing energies that can be labeled as Masculine and Feminine, solar and lunar. How we relate to Power is a good starting point when digging deeper into how we relate to the Masculine as a whole. This awareness is very much needed during the present revolutionary time on the pages of the book of humanity. We are all being asked to upgrade how we relate to, express, and work with our own Power. Without a need for explanation, it is known we live in a man-made society. This patriarchal world we live in has put a lot of unnecessary pressure onto both men and woman alike.
It is time to cultivate Divine Power, instead of seeking it externally by means of gaining control or authority over. Divine Power does not cause coercion, but instead creates a harmonious uprising of universal confidence, purification and transformation. This is the concept of âPower Withâ. Energetically, Divine Power is sparked in our upper abdomen/middle back and is located in our Solar Plexus/3rd Chakra. This is the space where we connect to our vibrant inner sun. When allowing, the rays from our Solar Plexus shine from inward to outward, illuminating and encouraging ourselves, our relationships, and our communities to grow, change and rise for the greatest good of all. Discover ways to empower yourself, so that you may empower others around you in return. This may be through your efforts to eat healthy, exercise, be of service to your community, etc. That is for you to decide! Through this process of empowerment, we are continuously shedding and aligning with higher versions of ourselves and the world as a whole.
Power is indefinitely related to the element of Fire â together we rise up and light the sky, or together we burn down and dissolve into ash. Perhaps we must first burn down to rise up…
May you find ways to connect to your Divine Power within. <3

I am loving this transitional time of increased energy, activation, and action. The sunshine feels so good on my skin, and the warmth touches my soul. We are entering a time where everything is in motion; there is little left stagnant.
Roots are growing, seeds are sprouting, flowers are blooming, trees are blossoming, and we are rising too, in sync with life around us.
Perhaps you can feel yourself gaining upward or outward momentum to manifest your creations! Although, we must remain mindful that seeds do not manifest into trees or flowers or a full-grown vegetables overnight. We must honor our process that is the growth, accepting that it occurs in perfect time. Spring is a new beginning of sorts, much like when the sun rises in the East come every dawn. There is so much stirring around and within us…aliveness, excitement, joy!
I recently watched a Netflix special called âBrene Brown: The Call to Courageâ. If you havenât seen it, I highly recommend giving yourself the time to. Brene Brown is a researcher and an author, and she has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy. I love her down-to-earth and relatable personality.
A few topics stood out to me…
Through her research, Brene has interacted with many who have lost loved ones. She found out that what they miss the most about their loved ones is actually the most ordinary moments. They do not miss the extraordinary.
Also through her research, Brene discovered that some people have a hard time experiencing joy. When some people feel joy, it is counteracted by immediately thinking the joy will be taken away or replaced by something hurtful. She gave the example of a mother gazing at her child sleeping. The mother is feeling joyful and is overwhelmed with love for her child, but then has a sudden vision of her child getting very ill or even dying. She becomes fearful instead of joyful. In contrast, she found out that there is one thing in common for those that do fully embrace joy â Gratitude.
Gratitude Leads to Joy.
It is so common to strive for the extraordinary â whether that be in your work, your business, your hobbies, your athleticism, your personal growth, your spiritual enlightenment⌠whatever it may be! Having passion and determination is great, but it is usually the ordinary and everyday moments that we end up taking for granted without even realizing it.
The moments that are ordinary hold the most magic and will be the most missed.
This is baffling and at the same time, liberating! Sure, the extraordinary will give you a boost when achieving dreams or healing miraculously, but it is the simple and the mundane that hold the power to bring us everlasting Joy. And if we invite Gratitude into our lives, it will surely carve the way.
Gratitude is the highest vibrational emotion we can feel. Energetically, Gratitude exudes outward from our heart spaces and ripples throughout the Universe like magnetic sonar waves, bringing us back abundance, love, and Joy. Gratitude, much like forgiveness, will always show us more. It will continue to expand our heartâs awareness and our ability to have thanks and to offer thanks. This is very important in order to live a fulfilled life. Gratitude teaches us over and over again how to be thankful for what we have, for what we have experienced, and for all of the ordinary day-to-day moments that we actually treasure dearly.
If we allow ourselves the proper permission to cultivate feelings of Gratitude, Joy is bound to follow.
Iâve just returned from a road trip through the Southwest with my sweetie. We traveled through New Mexico and Colorado as we stopped to soak in healing waters and bathe in luminous rays, surrounded by the natural world! It was a mellow getaway spent with family and friends, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to do so. You could say that I spent my time on vacation âreceivingâ.
The Balance of Give and Receive is SO important for the greater enjoyment, ease, and fulfillment of our lives on Earth. These two opposing (but complementary) energies can be witnessed and experienced simply as what we put out into the world and also what we take from the world.
You may also interpret Give/Receive as the Masculine and Feminineenergies that exist within and without, above and below. Within us, we have this represented by the seemingly symmetrical sides of our Earth-Bodies. Our right side is our Masculine side â which I describe as active, outward, exertion, ascending, and giving. Our left side is our Feminine side â which I describe as passive, inward, healing, descending, and receiving. You may also interpret this through the spirit of Mother Earth below and the spirit of Father Sky above. Mother Earth is the ultimate representation of the Feminine, and Father Sky is the Masculine. Together they form two halves of one greater whole, much like our Earth-Bodies. In Chinese Philosophy, what I speak of here is widely known as the balance of Yin and Yang.
This balance occurs in every breath â your inhale meets your exhale, which then meets your inhale as the cycle begins again and again. Your inhale needs your exhale (and visa versa) to be a complete breath. Light and Dark, Sun and Moon, Earth and Sky, Strength and Surrender, Fire and Water⌠there are endless examples of the harmonizing opposition of Give and Receive.
Perhaps you feel called to one side versus the other. Perhaps you are more likely to Give rather than Receive or Receive rather than Give. Perhaps you spend your days in action, moving from inward to outward rather than resting, moving outward to inward. Or perhaps it is the opposite.
HOME PRACTICE: Have no judgment, resistance, or attachment as you engage in any of the following practices (contemplation, meditation, shamanic journey, yoga, dance, walk, journal, etc.) that feels like a match for YOU to gain clarity. Hold the clear intention in your heart space to discover how you are in relation with Give and Receive, and be open to experience your own inner wisdom. Perhaps you may even come to a revelation of how to gain greater balance of these two energies in your Life, because we certainly need both!
We as humans are always striving to find balance. This appears fundamentally when we become tired or feel energized, become hungry or feel full, or even when we are sweating or have the chills. Balance is always something that we are reaching for physically, energetically, emotionally, mentally, and even spiritually. This occurs every day, every hour, every minute â whether we are aware of it or not. There is also great wisdom to be said in that there is NO true, concrete place of balance! We are always ebbing and flowing at every moment to “find” it. If we can bring in more AWARENESS around what we need to “work on”, it will act as a powerful ally on our journey closer.
When in “right” relation with Give AND Receive, we will experience Life as truly satisfied, wholesome, and healthy beings! We are on our path towards it <3
Recently I attended a beautiful Sound Healing where I set intentions to be open to receive any healing messages for myself, for those I love, for the greatest good of our planet, and for the greatest benefit of Life on Earth. My promise that evening was to act as a completely open vessel for truth, sight, love, and energy. It is also a very good reminder that we always have the ability to receive guidance from our helpers in the âunseenâ worlds. With my intention, the messages certainly came through!
âFloat, Donât Fight. Think,
Donât Sink.â
This was one of many that came
through that evening from Helping Spirits like Bear, the Elemental
Spirit of Water, and even Celestial Beings like Angels.
These Spirits are wanting to help provide a greater sense of ease on Earth as
they assist us during this intense time of transition, evolution, and change.
We can interpret this time personally within ourselves, outwardly in our
relationships, and even globally throughout the world.
Living
on Earth is certainly a beautiful miracle, but it does come with conditional
challenges, waves, and cycles. As I have spoken about previously, Life is
not linear. Over the past month, and specifically in the last week, it has
become very clear to me that we are all riding the waves of our emotions
and of our lives.
It
is up to us if we choose to float with the current, fight against the motion,
or sink into the depths.
In the Native traditions that I have studied and intuited, West and Water andBear are all united. West is the place where the sun sets every evening, promising us a chance to rest in darkness and renew in peace. The blackness of the sky is subtly illuminated by the nightlight of the moon and stars. This provides us a time to sleep, to recover, and to even shine glimmers of light on karmic patterns/beliefs/stories that are no longer encouraging the coming dawn of the next day â aka our Path/Purpose/Future in Life. Water as an Elemental offers us the potential to rejuvenate, cleanse, and wash away what is not in alignment with our true Self. Bear as the Spirit Guardian of the West provides us with the promise of the natural cycle of hibernation and reflection. Bear promises us a chance to go within to rest and heal, while also being protected, nurtured, and held safe while doing so. Perhaps you can feel for yourself how interconnected the “medicine” (or the teachings) of these are.
I saw clearly, and I feel
strongly, that this is playing out right now within us and all around us.
There
is profound opportunity and potential for the closure and finalized healing of
certain dated ways of living and being that no longer serve our coming
future.
These karmic bonds are being
loosened and are asking for our awareness and acceptance in order to fully heal
and close the cycle. During this process, there is potential for the opening of
new doors and ways to shine our intrinsic Lights, all while staying grounded
and rooted as humans of Earth. We have the ability to free ourselves from our
pasts and create opportunities for our future, if we are willing to bring
awareness around the ways that we may have encouraged those patterns to
play out in our Lives until now.
We CAN clear and
release karmic cycles, IF we allow ourselves the permission to ride the waves of our
emotions, express how we feel, and ultimately trust in the flow that is always
carrying us through.
Water wants to help us do this. As an ally, water can indefinitely guide us into a place of authentic truth, fluidity, and clear expression of who we are, how we feel, and what we are here to âdoâ.
We are aligning so that we may ride the waves of our lives in a more compassionate, balanced, and harmonious way with not only ourselves, but also with each other and the greater Mother Earth.

Home Practice: Working with Water
*Bring awareness around waterâs
abilities while you are washing your hands, doing dishes, cleaning laundry, showering,
etc.
*Offer
gratitude for and mindfulness towards the water you drink and interact with
each day.
*Honor the waters of the Earth and Sky. Spend time next to a local body of water/stream or collect fresh rain water outside – keep it in a special place in your home to remind you of the fluidity and help you are receiving!
*Take a rejuvenating Salt Bath. Epson/Mineral Salt combined with hot water in a bath helps to universally cleanse Mind, Body, & Spirit in an enjoyable and ease-filled way. Add essential oils or light candles to continue to create a healing space for yourself. I also like to call in healing energy from my Guides to help do this. Make it what you want! You may also want to try out this incantation: Speak out loud with conviction “Into the water and down the drain, goes all my worries, goes all my pain.” while you are exiting the bath, watching the water go down the drain. Repeat at least 3 times. Notice how you feel after!
*Listen to your intuition and respect how
YOU are guided to work with Water!
Your belly is the space between your chest and your pelvis. Your pelvis begins where your belly ends as the lower portion of the trunk of the human body. Your abdomen (otherwise known as the âbellyâ or âgutâ) is home to your digestive organs. Your pelvis (otherwise known as the âhipsâ) is home to your reproductive organs. These areas together hold great influence over the functions and systems of the connected Body and Mind.
We know there are millions of neurons in the gut that directly influence our mood, behavior, and perceivable experiences. This mesh of neurons is called the enteric nervous system (ENS) and can operate largely on its own, independent from the brain or spinal cord. Because of this, the gut (ENS) is frequently referred to as the âsecond brainâ.
The gut is also home to bacteria and other mircroorganisms intrinsic to our health and our susceptibility to disease. To encourage a healthy and balanced gut flora, it is essential (but sometimes not the most convenient) to eat a wholesome, clean diet. If we have a âhappyâ gut with a healthy array of bacteria – our overall mood, health, and vitality will correlate and reflect that. If we do not, we will surely feel the residue of an unhappy belly throughout the web of ourBody and Mind. A belly without diverse bacteria may cause a long list of digestive issues, autoimmune disorders, pain conditions, skin irritations, nutrient malabsorption, and may even affect the brain with fatigue, depression, anxiety, mood/behavioral disorders, and more.
We feel feedback and sensations (satiation, bloat, hunger, pain, anxiety, etc.) in our gut in response to the quality and amount of food we eat or don’t eat; we also feel sensations because of a variety of external stimuli. We may remember experiencing a âgut responseâ to a specific event or situation in the past – a âgut responseâ that was subtle or perhaps significant and created an inner feeling orpresence in the belly. The âgut responseâ may show up as butterflies, knots, turning upside down, or even just feeling really relaxed and calmed. The belly and the brain are constantly communicating in this way with each other mostly through the intelligent pathway of the vagus nerve, which carries the parasympathetic response to vital organs and muscles in the Body. Basic ways to strengthen and improve this connection involve yoga, deep breathing, “cold blasting”, and maintaining a healthy gut flora.
The same general concept goes for the pelvis, as well. Women will be affected by the enjoyment of their menstrual cycles just as much as both men and women will be affected by the health and regularity of their bowel movements. It is important for men and woman alike to hold a neutral pelvis while performing daily activities (instead of tilting too far forward arching the low back or tilting too far backward slouching the spine) because it acts as the foundation. The everyday alignment of the pelvis will directly impact the sensations in the hips, back, and neck. I predict we would experience lower pain and discomfort of these areas if we practiced and embodied a natural, neutral alignment.
We have all experienced how the difference of pain to pleasure in these areas impact our overall well-being and Life satisfaction.
So…what does all of this mean?
We have spoken about the Body/Mind relating to the Belly/Pelvis, but what about the connection to Spirit? Energetically, I see the seam where the belly meets the pelvis as the central point of gravity in the human body, where the essential connection to Mother Earthbelow is first established and harnessed within. We can feel and cultivate how connected we are with the Earth through the spaces in the belly, the pelvis, and even stemming further down into the legs and the feet. In my yoga classes and workshops, I always speak to the pelvis, the pelvic floor, the pelvic bowl, the belly, the core, the legs, and the feet to increase our inner-awareness of these parts by activating them and also by consciously groundingthe energy down.
If we are too tight or restricted in our Belly/Pelvis, we will not only have a hard time grounding down energetically, but we will also physically through difficulties eliminating waste. We may also suffer from fulfillment sexually if we are too restricted or blocked in this area; in severe cases, this may even show up as abdominal pain or pelvic pain.
It is natural in some occasions for the body to hold onto heavy amounts of stress, trauma, and tucked-down-and-away-never-to-be-felt-again emotions in the Belly and Pelvis. These emotional blocks have direct influence over our physical health.
Alternatively, if we aretoo open or loosein our belly/pelvis, we may feel quite sluggish or lazy. We may also feel unable to engage our core and our pelvic floor properly; this may lead physically to incontinence and energetically/emotionally to over-consuming sexual urges or food cravings.
It is also natural to have desires.
But, for optimal health and healing, balance is a necessity.
In Tantric traditions, your belly and pelvis inhabit the first 2 Chakras (energy centers) of your body. Your 1st Chakra (Root Chakra) is in your pelvis (located at the base of the spine in the perineum) and is your place of stability and safety. Your 2nd Chakra (Sacral Chakra) is in between your lower abdomen and lower back (located a few inches under the belly button) and is your place of sexuality, emotions, and desires. The element that relates to the Root Chakra is Earth (grounded, strong, solid), and the element that relates to the Sacral Chakra is Water(fluid, flowing, flexible).
You can feel how fundamental these two centers of the body are in order for us to continue to heal and evolve and grow.
So…how do I embody a healthy, balanced Belly & Pelvis?
You must first learn how to engage AND release these areas.Â
I find it is so important for humans to learn how to use the muscles of their core/pelvis and then learn how to let them go. You can experiment yourself with these actions through specific exercises to engage, then perform meditations/massages to release – feeling the polarity of these two extremes and resting somewhere in the everyday neutral, soft but strong.
I find it is also very important to seek out energetic and spiritual support to help find balance and healing from either extreme.
Everything that shows up physically has a spiritual correlation.
Shamanically, I treat and encourage the healing of the spiritual illness â the root of the illness at the very subtle layers of Self.
For those of you who know me personally, know that I am deeply connected to this area of the body because of my own in-depth experiences and healing journey. The unveiling of pelvic pain and its many layers has played a big part of my Soul Path and Soul Purpose since day 1. It has bestowed infinite wisdom on me that I would not have received otherwise. It has opened doors and propelled me on a vast and humble path of being in service to Spirit, the Greatest Good, and the Highest Truth.
I feel blessed to even write this today.
Your Belly and your Pelvis together hold ancient, primal wisdom that once unlocked, can impact the trajectory of your Life â of your Health, of your Healing, and of your entire Well-being!
Aho – So be it! <3

There are countless ways to practice with the Medicine Wheel. I do encourage an intuitive approach when working with spiritual symbolism, as we will all take something different from it. Trust your gut on how the medicine of the Wheel wants to work with/through you. Do not force, let this be a beautiful evolution (the evolution is part of the teaching, too! đ).

Below I provide you with a simple Incantation to speak clearly to call upon the energies of the Wheel. You may face each direction as you go through the Incantation. It is important to note that you must embody a reverence for the Spirits (Energies) of the Wheel as you go through this practice. After, you may wish to dance or sing or free-write to soften the mind and let the energies of the Universe move through you. Notice how and what you feel. Remain open to receive the energies. (You may also choose to draw the Wheel, meditate on the Wheel as a whole, or meditate on a specific section/animal/element/etc.) In Shamanism, there are no rules to what is right or wrong. How liberating! Enjoy.
Incantation:Â
“With respect and honoring, I welcome and call upon the Spirits of the East. I invite your powers and wisdoms to bring me clarity, perspective, intuition, and new beginnings.Â
With respect and honoring, I welcome and call upon the Spirits of the South. I invite your powers and wisdoms to bring me passion, determination, perseverance, and playfulness.
With respect and honoring, I welcome and call upon the Spirits of the West. I invite your powers and wisdoms to bring me renewal, rejuvenation, fluidity, and acceptance of the dark.
With respect and honoring, I welcome and call upon the Spirits of the North to bring me home. I invite your powers and wisdoms to bring me the knowledge, the abundance, and the Life I seek.
East, South, West, North – Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. So be it! Aho!”
